The Doctor

JOSEPH R. SCHNEIDER, DC DACNB

Dr. Schneider graduated from New York Chiropractic College with the dream of establishing a holistic health and rehabilitation center. The Back and Neck Pain Relief Center truly encompasses as a complete approach to patient care in our facility. In addition to chiropractic, neurology, medical care, and physical therapy, this office offers therapeutic massage and nutrition.

Dr. Schneider earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from St. Joseph's University in 1979. Following his graduation, he worked for 5 years as an electrical engineer; researching and designing simulation systems for electrical power plants.

While working as an engineer, Dr. Schneider personally learned of the impressive healing potential of chiropractic and was so convinced of it's scientific merit that he left his successful engineering career to pursue his chiropractic studies.

Dr. Schneider graduated Magna Cum Laudi from New York Chiropractic College in 1987. He earned the College's Academic Honors Award in recognition for excellence in chiropractic studies, as well as the College's Technique Award for outstanding chiropractic technique. He is a member of the Phi Chi Omega, the International Chiropractic Honor Society. Dr. Schneider received the New York Chiropractic Award for Distinguished Service and was named to Outstanding Young Men of America in 1986.

At the Back and Neck Pain Relief Center, Dr. Schneider specializes in neurological cases and integrating multiple modalities to the most severe cases. He has done so by completing his advanced certification in chiropractic neurology in 1995, and by attending numerous post graduate courses in orthopedics, nutrition, acupuncture, and chiropractic procedures.

Dr. Schneider resides in Springfield with his daughters Victoria, Marta, Gabriella and Alexandra.
