Comprehensive Health Care with the Emphasis on Care!
Our overall mission is to help people understand optimal nutrition by using quality supplements and nutritious whole foods. Many of us don't even remember what whole foods are these days, but in order to enjoy our best health we need to consume them and/or high quality vitamins and herbs.
Currently, there is so much conflicting information on nutrition that some may want to give up on ever understanding it. It's almost impossible to pick up a paper or watch the TV without hearing new contradictory information. All of a sudden certain fats are GOOD for us? Eggs are too? Even red meat (in moderation) can ward off illness? What on earth is flax seed oil, and is it better than fish oil? It's no wonder that people become confused.
One thing is certain - everyone is different and unique. Discovering one's own "bio-individuality" is the true key to health. This is why the high protien diet works for some, but definitely not all of us, and why others thrive on a vegetarian diet instead. How many of us know two friends who have been on the same diet and one loses weight and feels great while the other gains and is fatigued? This is the bio-individuality factor at work. We are each a unique blend of metabolism and ancestry, and our diet should reflect this.
Back and Neck Pain Relief Center carries the finest quality nutritional supplements available anywhere. With all due respect to health food stores; often their staff isn't trained in nutrition and you can be exposed to even more conflicting information - some of it harmful. We have been trained in vitamin supplementation and our specialized line of supplements are only dispensed under the doctor's supervision. To avoid harmful interactions, we take into consideration the medications you are using, as well as, other vitamin and herbal supplements. Our goal is to help you achieve the highest standards of health in the safest, most informed way possible.
As a part of each consultation, our patients are given a questionnaire that asks extensive questions about their health. These answers are correlated with your assessment and/or physical exam. This allows us to specifically target nutritional recommendations.
